  3. General and specific clinical-metabolic, instrumental, and genetic characteristics of normocalcemic and hypercalcemic variants of primary hyperparathyroidism.

Supervisor’s research interests
Prof. Saprina has a vast experience in the field of metabolic disorders (diabetes type 1 and type 2), obesity, metabolic syndrome, hyperparathyroidism, and oncoendocrinology. PI of research projects funded by Russian Science Foundation, executor of the Federal Targeted Program. 5 PhD theses (Cand.Med.Sci. Degree) and 4 Doctoral theses were defended under the supervision of Prof. Saprina.
Research highlights
Research projects are implemented using modern laboratory equipment based on the Central Research Laboratory accredited by GLP standards, expert class ultrasound, and scintigraphy-SPECT, CT, MRI).
Supervisor’s specific requirements:

  • 2 years of clinical experience, - skills in statistical analysis
  • at least 1-2 scientific papers published in international journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus databases.
