ABOUT TOMSK
Tomsk is a cozy and small city with developed infrastructure and a population of 551 thousand people. It is the best place to start your independent life! In addition to public transport, you can get around the city by trams, bicycles, and scooters.
Tomsk is famous for its wooden architecture. Here you can find unique wooden buildings that transform the city into an open-air museum. At the same time, the city has a well-developed infrastructure; there are various locations: cafes and places for students and young people. Everyone finds something interesting here!
Despite all the rumors about eternal winters in Siberia, Tomsk is quite a unique place concerning whether conditions. Here one can truly experience all four seasons. Interesting to know that in Tomsk the sun shines for more than 2048 hours a year - almost half of the possible time.

I wanted to become a doctor since my childhood. Even though, I had the opportunity to study medicine in India, I decided to study in Tomsk. I like Russian culture and its diversity. I always wanted to visit Russia. Fortunately, several years ago I entered Siberian State Medical University. The reason I entered SibMed is the quality of education and an excellent reputation of the University.
Now I am enjoying university life, participating in student activities. I also have the opportunity to work with patients in University Clinics. I am sure that Siberian State Medical University is creating a new era in medicine.
